Calling All Auroville Volunteers There are growing concerns within the community regarding certain ongoing land exchanges in Auroville that many feel may not fully align with the legal, ethical, and foundational principles of Auroville’s vision. Auroville belongs to humanity as a whole. The integrity of its land, governance, and development concerns all of us. When questions arise regarding processes that may affect the collective future of the city, it becomes our shared responsibility to seek clarity, transparency, and adherence to the law of the land. A group of concerned community members and volunteers will be assembling tomorrow (Monday, 9th March) at 9:30 AM at Solar Kitchen, and from there we will go together to meet the Superintendent of Police (SP) to submit a formal request for a review of these land registrations and to ensure that due legal process is followed. Auroville has always been built and protected by the spirit of volunteerism and conscious participation. If Auroville has ever served you in any way, this may be a meaningful moment to stand for its vision and integrity.
