Living Layers Body Mind Centering Intensive
tentativeLiving Layers is a five-day embodied research exploring the body through the lens of the five elements: Earth, Water, Fire, Air, and Light. Each day focuses on a living layer of experience: physicality, sensation, energy, connection, and vision. The work is grounded in somatic practice, Body-Mind Centering, contact improvisation, and butoh-inspired movement research, with a strong relationship to nature, presence, and performance. Rather than aiming for form, aesthetics, or technique, this intensive invites participants to explore movement as authentic expression: emerging from sensation, impulse, inner images, and lived experience. The body is approached as a site of perception, memory, and creative intelligence, where biology, environment, and imagination continuously interact.
