📅 𝐄́𝐯𝐞́𝐧𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 📅 📖 Pondicherry Book Club - “True Stories from the First World War” by Frank Herdman 📖 📍 Saturday, December 20 | 7:00 PM 📍 AFP Auditorium 📍English Join us for a session of the Pondicherry Book Club, hosted by Sunayana Panda. The event features Frank Herdman’s autobiographical book, recounting the experiences of an Englishman who enlisted at 18 to fight in the First World War. Stationed in France at the heart of the conflict, his regiment’s stories are told with humor and insight. The session will include the reading of one of the stories, followed by a discussion on the First World War. Originally planned for November to coincide with Armistice Day, the event will take place a month later.
